How do I sign up with Roman Candle Casting?

Check The Talent Resources Page on casting platforms we use. You can sign up for our casting notices on Source&Cast, Casting Networks or Backstage. We also post roles to our Instagram stories @RomanCandleCasting.


What ID’s are required for me to work on set?

Your ID’s must follow the guidelines for an i9 work document. This is a US Passport, drivers license and social security card or birth certificate, or Green Card. To see if your document is on the list of acceptable ID’s please click HERE.



Do I need professional pictures?

No! Selfies and candid photos are preferred. We want to see the real you!



What experience do I need in order to become a background actor?

None! But you must be professional, reliable, and a hard worker. All casting jobs are full day/night requirements.



Does Roman Candle Casting only hire union actors?

No! You can be non-union, SAG-AFTRA, Equity, etc.



Does Roman Candle Casting accept walk in’s or calls asking about work?

Unfortunately we do not allow walk in’s or calls asking for work. If you are available for work, please submit to our casting calls.



How do I get paid?

You will be issued a check through an authorized prodution payroll company 2-4 weeks after you work on set.



Is Roman Candle Casting my employer?

No, RCC is not your employer of record. The payroll company that issues your check is considered your employer. If you need any info re: Un-Employment or need your W4/ W2 for taxes, etc - refer to the payroll company associated with your show. The company info can be found on your pay-stub for each show you work.



Does Roman Candle Casting hire child performers?

Yes! We hire kids all the time. Children must have a valid trust account and child performers work permit issued by the state the child will be working in. Children under 18 year old must be accompanied by a legal guardian to set.

Does Roman Candle Casting follow COVID-19 Safety protocols?

YES! Safety is our number one priority. We work closely with actors and each production to follow guidelines per the CDC and Studios. All actors hired are required to follow COVID-19 Testing protocols, social distancing and mask wearing per Studio productions’ guidelines in order to work on any of our sets.

UPDATE 2023-24 - Testing is no longer required, however, there still may be in place General Safety Guidelines recommended for the well being of crew members and actors on sets.
